Knovel provides online access to over 3,000 leading engineering
reference works and databases from over 50 leading technical publishers
and professional societies like AIAA, AIChE, ASME and NACE in 26 subject
areas.
A Knovel platform upgrade is scheduled to take place today.
On campus, the Knovel
URLs in the catalogue will be redirected to the new site, so the users on campus should see no difference.
However, no subscribing institution will be able to gain access off
campus via EZProxy until September.
Knovel recommends that users set up a My Knovel profile to gain access off campus.

Message from Knovel
- Please note: For the upgrade on August 15th, on- and off-campus access to Knovel via EZproxy (and other similar proxy services) is not available.
- Our customer support team will begin to work with customers in September to configure EZproxy systems for Knovel’s new platform.
- For off-campus access, we recommend users create a My Knovel profile. My Knovel allows users to gain access from anywhere (on or off campus) via a username and password they select. In addition, My Knovel’s personalization features enable users to save and share searches, content and folders.
